    In accordance with Texas Education Code, Chapter 29, every school is obligated to found and conduct one or more infant school to train all children to be at age of 5 as of September 1. A public school kindergarten could be functioned on a half-day or a full day based on the decision of board of school district.

    In addition, preschool laws in Texas offer prekindergarten classes to children at the age of four and who are eligible under Subsection (b) if the district defines 15 or more children with the aforementioned rules. Therefore, school district may offer prekindergarten classes if district defines 15 or more right holder children who are at least at the age of three. The district may not require fee for infant school classes given.

District school provides prekindergarten classes if it defines at least 15 children within the region. Prekindergarten education prepares children to later phases of life and helps them to be successful at it.
